Dr. Kurt Phillips

Owner and Veterinarian

Education
Butler University, B.S. in Biological Sciences, 1992
Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, 1996

Professional and Personal
Dr. Phillips has a special interest in canine reproduction and English Bulldogs. He is a married father of two. His family includes Jenner, a Vizsla and two cats, Lizzie and Spraguey.

When he is not working with animals and running his new record store, Square Cat Vinyl, Dr. Phillips loves to see live music and entertain guests in his home.

Dr. Jennifer Glore

Professional and Personal
Dr. Glore takes a special interest in cat health, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Her animal friends include Otis, a Doodleman Pinscher and a cat, Penelope.

In her free time, Dr. Glore likes to travel, play golf and ride in the Trader’s Point Hunt Club.

Dr. Nicole VanDeLeest

Veterinarian

Professional and Personal
Dr. VanDeLeest has a special interest in feline medicine, surgery, and improving her ultrasound knowledge and use. She is married to Dr. Bill Hoffmeyer, who is a veterinarian as well,
and they share their home with a yellow Labrador named Rosie, a Redbone Coonhound mix named Annie, and their beloved orange cat, Elby.

In her free time, Dr. VanDeLeest enjoys baking, traveling, trivia night with friends, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and exploring downtown Indy.


Dr. Ryan Klobusnik

Veterinarian

Professional and Personal
Dr. Klobusnik has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
He shares his home with his boyfriend, Dr. Michael Kushdilian, a physician and his two dogs, Samantha and Shiloh.

When he isn’t working, he enjoys watching old films and exploring new restaurants and neighbor-hoods in downtown Indy. Fun fact: Dr. Klobusnik has a twin brother who also lives in the Indy area.

Stephanie Baer

Professional and Personal
Stephanie worked in the Criminal Justice field for over 20 years. Her jobs ranged from offering home based services, working in detention centers, being a probation officer, and running a medical records department for a treatment center. She decided to make a career change in order to pursue her love of animals and has been working for Dr. Kurt Phillips since 2012.

Stephanie and her husband, Will, share their home with their family of four cats: Gandalf the White, Dot, Nurgle J. Moose, and Pippen F. Took. They also have their beloved Great Dane, Jett, a rambunctious Beagle, Remi, and a Bichon named Buddy.

In Stephanie’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, training in martial arts, reading and playing the piano.

Ken Clarke

Ken moved to Indy in August of 2011. He has two dogs: Augi, a French Bulldog, and Brooklin, a Boxer mix. He is very interested in fitness and health. Ken also enjoys reading tech blogs.

Lucinda Schlotman

Lucinda has always been an animal lover and has always wanted to help them. As a child she brought many animals home that needed help (her parents loved that). She has a rescue dog named Dalton, a chocolate labrador.

She enjoys various activities like line and swing dancing, kayaking, hiking, horse back riding, cliff jumping, and even fishing. Lucinda is always up for a new challenge and looks forward to the the opening of our new practice in Fountain Square.

Jessica Wolfe

Jessica has been working in the veterinary field since 2010. After recently moving here from New Jersey, she wanted to continue her passion for pets. She resides in Fountain Square with her sister. Together they have a Maine Coon cat, Hailey, two Tortoises, Six and Sweat Pea, and a rescue rat, Cream.

When not at the clinic, Jessica enjoys reading, music, photography, and exploring downtown Indy.

Catherine Nichols

Catherine has been involved in the animal health world since 2011 and is very excited to be on the new team at Fountain Square! She lives on the south side with her “princess,” a husky mix named Luna. When not working, she loves traveling, volunteering and playing with her pup.


Meredith Dover

Professional and Personal
Meredith graduated from IU in 2013 and moved back to Indy where she worked in sales for two and a half years. She has done substitute teaching and was also an Art Instructor for the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis. She is very excited to be working near her home in Fountain Square.

When she’s not at Fountain Square Animal Clinic, she is working part time for ClusterTruck and Pioneer. She loves watching true crime documentaries, spending time with friends, and pretending to know anything about wine.

She is the proud owner of her cat Spencer, (named after Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds) who loves to sit in windowsills and look for birds.

Ica Hyatt

Veterinary and Clinic Cleaning Assistant

Ica has always been a devoted animal lover and care taker. She just recently involved herself in the animal health world in August of 2015. Her love mostly radiates towards her cat, Hercules.

In her free time, Ica enjoys boating, hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking and tennis. She also aspires to attend Purdue University for vet school in the future.
